"Sloan have shared details of the 21st anniversary box set of their 1998 album Navy Blues. The three-LP set comes with the original album — that found them veering into ’70s rock territory with classics like “Money City Maniacs,” “She Says What She Means,” and “C’mon C’mon” — that has been remastered from the original mixes; the entire album in demo form where some versions are pretty different from how they’d end up on the record; and a third disco of studio outtakes, including songs that would end up on Sloan’s next record, Between the Bridges, and even one that would end up, in radically altered form, on 2006’s Never Hear the End of It. There are also two 7″ singles: one features two more demos, and the other with two “Hammond Jam” outtakes. There’s also a 32-page book with never-before-seen photos and an oral history of the making of the album, and there’s also poster in there too."
