Foster The People make their eagerly anticipated Altantic Records debut with their long-awaited fourth studio album, Paradise State of Mind. It is the band's first studio album since the release of Sacred Hearts Club in 2017, although they released a number of non-album singles and EPs in between the seven year gap. The album draws its roots from the musical landscape of the late 1970s with elements of disco, funk, gospel, and jazz, with songwriting inspired by such cultural events as the COVID-19 pandemic.
